The world economy is now officially in a recession and many people are in fear of losing their jobs and their homes. There has never been a better time to investigate the possibility of trying to make money online.
When you talk to people today about starting a home based business most will tell you that they want to make money online but do not know how to get started. They literally have no idea how to get started to make money from home. They just know that they have a dream, they want to start their own business because they are stresses out and tired of working for someone else. They want to be their own boss. They have heard that you can make money online but do not know much about it. They begin their search for a home business, and like myself in the beginning, have no idea how to make extra money online. Because so many new people are starting home businesses but have no experience with how to make money online, there is a void of information to help them.
A lot of these people have gotten involved with a Multi-Level Marketing Company. They love the product and the company. Their upline is a very aggressive marketer who is a leader in the company. He holds weekly meetings in different towns, conducts training and generally works 70-80 hours a week. However, this upline marketer does not make money online nor does he know how to teach his downline to do so. He thinks it is enough that the company provides everyone with a self replicating web Site. It has all of the information he needs. All of the product information and Distributor information is online, the product can be ordered online. It looks very good, very professional. So they ask their up line how do I market my products, get customers and how do I make money online? Guess what?
They probably won’t know the answer to that question. Most of the uplines today probably will not have very much experience in how to make money online, because they never did it. Most of their business was conducted in the old traditional MLM Model. The upline tells all of his people: to attend all of the weekly local and corporate business and training meetings; Buy all of the tapes, books and periodicals that the company produces; Distribute these to relatives, friends and acquaintances. They continue to hassle relatives, friends and acquaintances. They build a list and call everyone. They employ the three foot rule, anyone within three feet gets a business or product presentation. If that does not work they do cold calling. If that does not work, they are told to buy leads to build a list. Then keep calling and keep working. Once you run out of family and friends, you are either going to have to buy worthless leads or just quit.
This is when many people get disillusioned, leave the company and move onto something else. Then the cycle just starts to repeat itself over and over again.
It is highly unlikely that you will be able to make money online doing business this way. Additionally the corporate self replicating website, which is the main online tool, is built for the corporate perspective not for the person who wants to make money online. It is not designed for SEO nor is it search engine friendly in any manner. It cannot be customized with the correct meta tags and therefore there are thousands of identical sites out there on the internet so the search engines will never find an individual site unless it is by luck. That website is worthless to you if you are looking to make money online, and odds are, you don’t know how to develop your own search engine optimized site.
If you want to make money online do not rely on your MLM Company to support you business strategy. Find people who understand the internet and get some training from them on the best way to make money online. There are plently of people onine who would be willing to help you, you just have to look for them
The majority of people have to put in a lot of effort and research before they can build a good website with quality content that will attract traffic to their site. That is where the power of a team comes in, people have individual strengths and everyone pitches in to help everyone else to make money online and be successful. You don’t have to struggle on your own.
