With the economy in a constant state of flux it is worth considering alternative ways of making money, either in addition to your day job or as a possible replacement.
Let’s talk a bit about how to make money online. There are certain things that marketers will tell you to watch for – something that will make you gobs of money. One of these critical words that a lot of them will tell you to watch for is the timing of whatever they are trying to promote. They will use phrases like “the timing for this has never been better” or “get in now – the timing is perfect.” Now think for a minute about all the things that have been around for many years and have not changed, but are doing better than ever. How about a specific brand of oatmeal, for example? True, I don’t think there are many online programs that sell oatmeal by which you can earn a residual income, but you understand what I am getting at. Of course it also depends on the type of products – needless to say that for many electronic products the timing is critical. On the other hand, very often the timing can be so critical with some electronic products that you might think you are getting in on time but you may have missed the boat. Or worse yet, the window on the particular product was so small that it closed up even before many of the products were even sold due to newer technology, leaving thousands of useless devices remaining in warehouses. So how to make money online can change in an instant if you have a very time sensitive product.
So my suggestion is to stay away from those types of ads – the type that focus too much on timing and say things like “hurry”, “get in now”, or “before the opportunity is gone.” Another word/phrase that marketers like to use is “demand”, or “demand for this is through the roof!” Well, what happens when demand goes away? Well, once again, the people who were recruited last lose out, and people who were in at the beginning may have spent a lot of money doing a lot of recruiting and now their income is gone as well. how to make money online requires you to concentrate on something that will be here five, ten, or twenty years from now. Something that people will want for years to come. It is sad to see people failing online because they stick to things that are trends, fads, things that seem really great right now, but six months from now they will wonder why they ever decided to join that particular program (especially because it failed three months earlier). You want to get into something with staying power.
For me, how to make money online is quite simple, actually. I do not worry about the timing of a particular product, and I don’t think about how popular it is. I buy customers. Every business needs customers to succeed. It is a fact of life and our free enterprise system. The timing is always perfect with the products that the customers purchase and the demand is always there. Best of all, I earn commissions on their purchases.
